FLEET LITERARY REVIEW

A creative writing anthology for students by students at the University of Glasgow, part of the Glasgow University Union.

Fleet..

Is a creative writing journal for students at the University of Glasgow, allowing writers of any level of experience to have their work published, in a journal focused on the weird and exciting.

Students can also participate in running the magazine, by acting as editors, graphic designers or event coordinators. Volumes are published annually, each under a new team decided by the editorial board. Submission of up to 3,000 words are accepted.

There are no limitations on the genre, style or format of works which can be submitted, provided they are a form of fiction. Successful submissions are then selected by the editorial team and worked upon with authors to edit them in preparation for publishing.

We also run events throughout the year, which allow writers to interact with each other and perform collaborative creative work or interact with more seasoned creatives in the industry, and generally make new connections and find support and inspiration.

Fleet Literary Review is published by the Glasgow University Union and managed by the Libraries Committee. It showcases the very best of the University of Glasgow's creative writing. For information on submitting pieces and/or applying to join the committee, please visit our hiring page or watch for upcoming announcements on our Instagram.
